About Sunset Picnics on the Waterfront

Come join us as we enjoy a picnic in an open space at Piers Park. We will have some treats available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage people to bring their own blanket and picnic, and enjoy the music and the beautiful sunset on the Boston Harbor. Spectacular views you won’t want to miss!

This event is hosted by The Trustees Boston Waterfront Initiative, which is working to create a series of resilient and welcoming public parks on Boston’s harbor. The first park site, announced in late 2020, is Piers Park III in East Boston, adjacent to the existing Piers Park. Piers Park III is currently in the community design phase.
